Sally Josephine "Jo" Sasnett

Jo Sasnett, 81, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August, 19 2016.

Jo was born on February 5, 1935 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late James & Ruby Binnion. She was a long time member of Westside Baptist Church and was currently attending Sandy Valley Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia. Jo was a master seamstress and the owner of The Sewing Room. She had the unmatched ability to take an idea on paper and make it a reality in fabric, from her drapery and bedding creations to custom wedding gowns. Her handmade blankets and keepsakes ministered to many throughout the area. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Burl Sasnett; siblings, James Binnion Jr., Virginia Binnion Daniels, Helen Binnion, George Binnion and Bobby Binnion;

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Brenda and Preston Brinson of Statesboro and Richard and Evelyn Sasnett of Fort Valley; grandchildren, Ashley Sasnett Jenrette (Don), Richard Blair Sasnett (Kylie) and Matthew Sasnett Brinson; great grandchildren, Sophie Grace Jenrette, Tucker Lawson Jenrette and Kinsley Amanda Sasnett; siblings, Juanita Calhoun (Gene), Betty Binnion Butler, Barbara Livezey (John) and Kenneth Binnion and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 21, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Sandy Valley Baptist Church. Afterwards, Mrs. Sasnett will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family may be contacted at the home of Richard and Evelyn Sasnett, 9610 Miami Valley Road, Fort Valley, GA.
