Sandra Faye Flannagan

July 31, 1943 — May 4, 2009

Sandra Faye Thomas Flannagan, 65, entered into rest on May 4, 2009.

Mrs. Flannagan was born on July 31, 1943, in Fort Scriven on Tybee Island, Georgia. She moved to Warner Robins at the age of four and lived through the "big tornado." She went to Lindsey Elementary School where she was well known and proud of winning the high jump and later graduated from Warner Robins High School. As a child, she attended Second Baptist Church with her parents, and was saved at the age of eight. She later became a charter member of Evergreen Baptist Church, and eventually joined Green Acres Baptist Church where she was active in the Glory Choir. She worked as a seamstress supervisor at Happs Manufacturing Company for eighteen years. She took great pride in home schooling her daughter thru middle school, while helping her husband run a small business. Her father, Harley F. Thomas, Sr., preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-six years, James E. Flannagan; daughter, Stephanie Flannagan, mother, Hazel Azalene Bryan Thomas; all of Warner Robins; brother, Harley F. Thomas, Jr.; and niece, Christine E. Thomas, both of Maryville, Tennessee.
