Sandra Jeanne Kennedy

January 6, 1942 — May 6, 2022

On the morning of Friday, May 6, 2022, Sandra Jeanne Kennedy, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.

Sandra was born on January 6, 1942, in Miami, Florida to the late Grady and Helen Jordon, Jr. She was a member of Welaka Baptist Church, Welaka, Florida and dedicated many years at Robins Financial Credit Union from where she retired. While Sandra had many part time jobs, she devoted her time into raising her children while her husband served in the military for twenty-two years. When she was able, she loved singing praise songs for Jesus. An avid Georgia Bulldogs fan she enjoyed cheering for her team and watching NASCAR races. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Dolores Daniels and son, Kenneth A. Kennedy, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring husband of sixty-three years, Kenneth Alan Kennedy, Sr.; daughter, Dawn Presley (Mel) of Centerville; grandchildren, Jessica Alley (Zane) of Avon Park, Florida and Krystle Black (Michael) of Hahira, Georgia and Alex Deal (Michelle) of Columbus, Georgia; great grandchildren, Harper Alley and Everly Alley of Avon Park, Florida, Matthew Black of Hahira, Georgia and Jackson Deal of Columbus, Georgia; nieces, Carrie Motes and Connie Furno and their families and special caregiver, Tracy Campbell.

Visitation with Sandra’s family will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral service celebrating her life following in the chapel. After the service, Sandra will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Sandra Kennedy to The Bridge Church, 2758 US 41, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030 of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
