Sandra Sherman

Sandra Sherman, 70, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014.

Sandra was born on October 26, 1944 in Cabell, West Virginia. She worked for Rockwell International retiring after many years as a document transferor. Sandra moved to Houston County eight years ago. In her spare time she enjoyed growing orchids and working in her green house. Sandra will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.

Her mother, Helen Francis Runnels, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 46 years, Robert Sherman of Kathleen; sons, Richard (Elizabeth) Sherman of Largo, Florida, Gregory Thomas (Tammy) Sherman of Pittsfield, Illinois, and Michael Cole of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda, Ian, Caitlin, Kayla; and father, George L. Runnels.

Private graveside services will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given In Memory of Sandra Sherman to the Donor's favorite charity.
