Sarah Dyer Halley

Sara Dyer Garrett Halley, 91, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Oakbridge Nursing Home, Lakeland, FL. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Halley was born in Bibb County, Georgia. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and the Keenagers Sunday School Class. She was also a retired office clerk at Robins Air Force Base and a retired seamstress at Happ Brothers. Her husbands, Edward Marvin Garrett and Henry Halley; parents, John Alexander and Beulah Arnold Dyer; and daughter, Faye Molton, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald Garrett, Perry, GA and Derrell Garrett, Charleston, SC; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
