Sarah Elizabeth Peters

Sarah Elizabeth Peters, 76, of Warner Robins died November 6, 2001 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 9, at First Christian Church, 100 North Houston Road, Warner Robins. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Guillain-Barre' Syndrome Foundation, P.O. Born in Philipsburg, PA, Mrs. Peters had made her home in Warner Robins since 1954. She was a Charter Member of First Christian Church in Warner Robins and was retired from the Houston Medical Center as a nurse on the OB/GYN floor. She remained very active with the Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome Foundation until the time of her death. She was predeceased by her parents, Phillip and Carrie Dawson; and brothers, Phillip, Jr., Clarence, and Edward Dawson, all from Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, William R. Peters; her son, Dennis William Peters and daughter, Kathryn L. Peters, all of Warner Robins; granddaughter, Danielle E. Peters of Macon; and step-grandchildren Christopher Lewis and Jennifer Sibley of Newnan, GA. She was also “Grandma” to Ron Kuitko of Texas and Dawn Kuitko Backus of Virginia. Numerous nieces and nephews as well as her niece, Judi Kuitko, of Warner Robins, and three ''great-grandchildren'' survive her.
