Sarah Maddox

Sarah Maddox, 70, entered into rest on Friday, May 30, 2008.
Mrs. Maddox was born in McRae, Georgia. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary-post 172, where she served as Sergeant of Arms and Executive Committee, and Chaplain. Her husband, Robert Lee Maddox; parents, Duncan and Lola Feeney and Gladys and John Vaughn; sister, Geneva Law and grandson, Michael Marcy, preceded her in death.

Family members include her loving daughters, Becky Letourneau, Tampa, Florida, Connie Beck (Robert), Warner Robins and Barbara Tucker (David), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Robby Marcy, Michael, Suzanne and Kristian Conley, Chris Tucker (Crystal) and Clayton Tucker; great grandchild, Peyton Tucker; siblings, Duncan Feeney, Jr. (Miriam), Myrtice Kirk, Inez Ecton and Margaret Stapleton, all of Warner Robins; Mary Stitt (Dan), Pensacola, Florida, Betty Enlow, Iuka, Mississippi and Jean Boone, McRae, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Sarah brought joy and smiles to all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
