Savannah Louise Rector

Savannah Rector, 24, left her earthy vessel unexpectedly on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at her home in Orlando.

Savannah was born July 2, 1993 on Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. She resided in Warrensburg, Missouri before moving with her military parents to North Pole, Alaska, and then to Bonaire, Georgia where she graduated from Warner Robins High School in 2011 and was a member of Warner Robins Church of Christ.

Savannah was employed at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. She was previously employed at Disney’s Magic Kingdom after finishing her internship with the Disney College Program. Savannah loved children and enjoyed coaching soccer and working as a nanny prior to her theme park life. She will be remembered for her smile, curly hair, impeccable makeup, and most importantly for her love and loyalty towards her friends and family. Savannah’s song has ended, but her melody will forever linger on with those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Donald Birk; and uncle, David Birk.
Savannah is survived by her loving parents, William and Laura Rector; her adoring sister, Samantha; her paternal grandparents, Leonard Dale and Carolyn Rector; her maternal grandmother, Betty Birk; her boyfriend Mounir Rahmani; her maternal aunts and uncles, Alan, Doug (Colleen Gach), Marty (Debby), Janine (Matthew) French, and Glen (Jimmy Ross); her paternal uncle, Richard (Lisa); eight cousins; and eleven second cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Savannah Louise Rector to Warner Robins Church of Christ, 1947 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
