Sheldon Paul Kalani

Sheldon Paul Kalani, age 67, passed away on the 21st day of November 2020. Born in Portland, Oregon on March 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Henry and Verna Kalani.

After graduating high school in Oregon, Mr. Kalani dedicated 20 years to serving in the United States Air Force. He also worked for 19 years at the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins, Georgia. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Randy J. Hastings and his brother, Walter Kalani.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 34 years, Lori A. Kalani of Warner Robins; children, Jamie Kalani Massey of Perry, Dane Kalani (Aubrey) of Bonaire, and Ricky Kalani of Bonaire; grandchildren, Leah Massey, Jessie Kalani, Kasidi Kalani, Robert Kalani, and Carter Kalani; brother, Hugh Kalani of Oregon City, Oregon; brother-in-law, Richard MacPherson of Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Sheldon’s memory to the Museum of Aviation or the donor’s favorite charity.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
