Shenesa Lashe Watkins

Shenesa Lashe Respress Watkins passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, June 18, 2020. She was 34 years old.

Shenesa was born on August 22, 1985, in Warner Robins, Georgia. After graduating in 2003 from Warner Robins High School, she worked in customer service for the Xerox Corporation. A member of Word Of Life Ministries, she loved to sing. But her greatest joy in life came from time spent with her three loving sons. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Shenesa was preceded in death by her grandfather, Albert Respress, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her parents, Dewayne and Dalecia Respress Armstrong and Vincent Stevens (Yonnie); her children, Christopher Watkins, Jerald Watkins, and Tyler Watkins; her grandparents, Nathaniel and Fannie Corbin, Harrison Davis, and Robert and Elone Stevens; her siblings, Kenyona Armstrong, Christian Armstrong, Dejornise Armstrong, Vincent Stevens, and Shaqueal Stevens; her husband, Taihe Watkins; her godparents, Jimmie and Bonnie Moore; her mother-in-law, Patricia Watkins; her brother-in-law, Jerald Ford; her nieces Reagan Pitts and Riyahn Bennett; her aunts, Ashiya Anderson (Eric), Fanneca Curtis (Antwoin), Kimika Robinson (Mark), Karen Harrison, Karen Grable (Tony), Bridgette Armstrong, Tamara Moreland (Russell), and Lynn Davis; her uncles, Alando Respress (Mercy), Ramon Armstrong, Kenneth Armstrong (Barbara), Harrison Davis (Dominque); several cousins; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Visitation with Shenesa’s family will be Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Bishop Mark Robinson officiating. Following the service, Shenesa will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family respectfully respects that anyone attending the visitation or the funeral please wear a mask for their protection as well as yours.
