Sherri Lynn Reid

Sherri L. Reid, 41, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 30, 2011.

Mrs. Reid was born on May 31, 1970 in Alabaster, Alabama. She was a member of Canton First United Methodist Church. Sherri loved life and was a very devoted mother to her four children, especially Joseph. Her father, John Wood, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, John Mitchell Reid, Jr., Perry; children, Courtney Holladay, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Chuck Foor, Joseph Reid, and Daniel Reid, all of Perry; mother, Wanda McMillian Roberson, Columbiana, Alabama; brothers and sisters, Susan Wood Mitchell, Stacey Mathews, and Mark Roberson; mother and father in law, Vickie and Danny Lindsey; and so many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday evening, September 1, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins, Georgia. The family will also receive friends prior to the funeral service from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Canton First United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011 in Canton First United Methodist Church, 930 Lower Scott Mill Road, Canton, Georgia 30114. Interment will follow in Emerson City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House, 795 Gatewood Road, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
