Shirley Ann Field

August 4, 1939 — July 8, 2022

On the evening of Friday, July 8, 2022, our mother and sister, Shirley Ann Field, passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was 82 years old.

Born in Eastman, Georgia on August 4, 1939, Shirley was the daughter of the late George and Bessie Haynes Davis and was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base with a number of years as a secretary with Civil Engineering. Shirley had a bigger than life personality and will be remembered by everyone who knew her for the true love she had for her family, including her precious dog, “Blossom.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Marion Field; her son, Keith Madden; and her sister, Elaine Hicks.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Kim Sampson of South Carolina and Clint Middleton of Virginia; granddaughter, Miranda Kelley of Georgia; and sister, Betty Diehl of Georgia.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
