Stanley Lee Box

Stanley L. Box, 95, entered into rest on Monday, June 2, 2008.

Mr. Box was born on January 3, 1913 in New Albany, Indiana. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a Master Plumber and owner of Box Plumbing until his retirement. He belonged to the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing Industry of the U. S. and Canada, local #719. He was a member of Tyrian Lodge #111. He was predeceased by three children and parents, David Box and Edith Lillian Maddox.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Simpson Box, Warner Robins; daughter, Joyce Box Clay, Vero Beach, Florida; four step-children, fifteen grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins GA 31088 or to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 1322 Feagin Mill Road, Warner Robins GA 31088
