Steve Sidlauskas

Steven A. Sidlauskas of Warner Robins passed away on January 24, 2021. He was 51 years old.

Born in Springfield, Illinois, on March 27, 1969, he was the son of the late Audrys and Karen Sidlauskas. He was a mechanic who had a lifelong love of cars. Steve was very proud to have been employed as a mechanic for over 30 years at Hutchinson Automotive.

A kind and gentle man, Steve was a person who was always there to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever it was needed. Steve treated everyone fairly and never raised his voice. He oftentimes accepted those he met as part of his family. He was a doting grandfather, affectionately known as “Pop” to his six grandchildren. He enjoyed family trips to Jekyll Island where he would camp and bike ride with his grandkids. An avid NASCAR fan, Steve could also be found camping in the infield with his friends on race weekends. Steve worked hard on projects and played even harder with his best friend, Tom Wilson.

Left to cherish the memory of their beloved father, Pop, and friend to all are his wife of 15 years, Katrina Sidlauskas; daughters, Jessica Holder (Donald), Brittany Thompson (Corey), and Kaley Reynolds (Jeremy); grandchildren, Aiden Holder, Emerson Holder, Avellina Holder, Hunter Hicks, Brealyn Thompson, and Alayna Clark; sister, Suzanne Benningfield; cousins, Lisa Sidlauskas (Patrick) and Christine Hayden (Chad); uncle, John Sidlauskas (Norma); and many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with burial following at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in Macon.
