Steven G. Taylor

Steven G. Taylor, 51, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Disabled American Veteran’s Association 4462 Houston AVE Macon, GA 31206.

Mr. Taylor was born on December 19, 1954 in Waycross, Georgia to the late George Daniel Taylor and Ouida McCormick Taylor. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Steven was employed at Robins Air Force Base where he worked in civil service as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam Era. He enjoyed spending time with his family, was a music enthusiast and enjoyed riding motorcycles. In addition to his parents, his daughter, Kelly Michele Taylor, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his son, Steven Jacob Taylor, Warner Robins; sisters, Susan Jackson (Kerry), Kathleen; Melanie Salter (Lee), Perry; brother, Tom Taylor (Nicole), Wilmington, NC; nieces, Cecily, Dakota, and Reagan Taylor; and nephews, Jarrod and Travis Jackson and Matthew and Mark Salter.
