Sue K. Wright

Sue K. Wright, 82, joined her beloved husband, Hurshell E. Wright in heaven on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

Sue was born in Nagoya, Japan on April 7, 1935 to the late Shinkichi and Tomi Oi. She loved the Lord and was very instrumental in the Prison Ministry at Pulaski Women’s Prison. Sue will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her memory and legacy will live on in her loving children, Patrick Wright (Caylie) of Asheville, North Carolina, Nancy Borders of Byron and Doris McWhorter (John) of Macon; grandchildren, Sara, Bethany, Lukas, and Matthias Wright, Steven, Jennifer, Brett and Emily Borders, and Michelle Ziglar, Alex and Johnathan McWhorter; great-grandchildren, Cali, Lydia, Lucas, Ava, Robert, Asher, Saylor and Colton.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Sue will be laid to rest next to her husband in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Wright’s arrangements.
