Susan Elaine Murphy

Susan Elaine Murphy, 49, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

Susan, born August 29, 1961, in Warner Robins, was a Warner Robins High School graduate and earned her Associates degree in Accounting from Macon State College. She worked as a Project Manager at Georgia Trane Company and part-time at Go Fish Georgia in Perry on weekends. She attended Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, gardening, volunteering, and especially loved her cats. Her father, William Mayton Murphy, and nephew, Bradley Kyle Sorrells, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving mother, Elizabeth Hensley Murphy Elmore; sisters, Patti Grammer (Bill), Bonaire, and Lisa Bryant (Eddie), Centerville; nieces, Brook Bennett and Kelly Grammer; nephews, William Grammer and Jared Bryant; aunts, Joy Moore, Barbara Whitaker and Peggy Gunter; companion, Dan Golden; and numerous of great nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2011, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
