Susan Kaye Baker

Susan Kaye Baker, 62, entered into rest on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

Susan was born on August 6, 1950 in Macon, Georgia. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church.
Susan worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Medical Center of Central Georgia for many years. She was later disabled and a resident of Goodwill Nursing Home. Susan had a heart of gold and a kind spirit; she enjoyed visiting with patients long after her employment as a nurse ended. Her father, Thomas Brown, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Penny Hatfield (Charlie), Warner Robins; parents, Julia and Donald "Pat" Nipper, Gordon; sister, Barbara Mercer, Athens; brother, Tommy Brown, Macon; grandchildren, Michael Shane Upshaw, Matthew Upshaw, great granddaughter, Mattie Upshaw; and her beloved Chihuahua, Baby.

Service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Goodwill Nursing Home, Inc., 4373 Houston Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31206.
