Tsgt. Curtis Ray "Curt" West, Usaf (Ret.)

Curt West, 81, passed away peacefully at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Navicent Health in Macon, on Thursday, January 21, 2016.

Curt was born on June 25, 1934 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to the late William and Lois Mercer West. After graduating from High School, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force. Curt served his country for 20 years before retiring with the rank of Tech Sergeant as an aircraft radio maintenance technician. He then continued his career in electronics and communications at E-Systems in St. Petersburg, Florida. After retirement, Curt and his wife moved to Bonaire where they have spent the past 22 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his buddies on the golf course. Curt also loved going to the gym, reading, and spending time with his beloved wife of 43 years, Lois Owens West.

Curt's memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Lois West of Bonaire; Curt's children, David West and Tracy White, and their families; step-children, Joyce Lamantia, Robert Clubb, Roxanne Drake, and their families; brothers, Charles West, Tommy West, Donald West and their families; as well as a host of many other loving family members.

Services will be private at the family's request.
