Tsgt. Joshua David Spradlin, Gaang

Joshua David Spradlin, 33, walked into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 26, 2015 after a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Born in Hahn Air Base, Germany, Joshua was born on April 25, 1982 and was of the Baptist faith. He attended Northside High School and graduated with the Class of 2000. Following high school, he joined the Georgia Air National Guard and was assigned to the Communication Squadron with the 116th Air Control Wing at Robins Air Force Base. Joshua attended Shirley Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jay Jimenez; and grandfather, Samuel F. Debartolo.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted and loving wife, Ashley Dees Spradlin of Bonaire; parents, Mary Jimenez (Juan) of Bonaire and Paul Jesmer (Tammy) of Warner Robins; siblings, Angela Jesmer, Jessica Jimenez and James Jimenez, all of Bonaire; grandparents, Hazel Debartolo of Kent, Ohio, Shirley Brendle and Harvey Spradlin, both of Maryville, Tennessee, and Ralph Jesmer (Linda) of Dry Branch, Georgia; two nephews, Christopher Boyd Jimenez and Cruz Jimenez; mother-in-law, Janet Dees of Bonaire; and sister-in-law, Laura Dees of Bonaire.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 31, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Shirley Hills Baptist Church with Reverend Andy Cook officiating. Joshua will be laid to rest at Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.
