Tsgt. Robert H. Bordwell, Usaf (Ret.)

Robert H. Bordwell, 83, passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

Robert was born on November 2, 1931 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. Robert retired from the military and also from civil service at Robins Air Force Base.

A faithful member of Crossroads United Methodist Church, Robert was close to God and loved serving with the Prison Ministry. He enjoyed leather working and loved square dancing. Robert's mother and stepfather, Marie Charlier Crosby and Neil Crosby; and father, Harold Faye Bordwell, all preceded him in death.

Robert's memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Carolyn Bordwell of Bonaire; children, Robert H. Bordwell, Jr. of Bonaire, Carol A. Dally (Doyle) of Hawkinsville, Connie Dupree (Steve) of Cochran and Chris A. Bordwell of Bonaire; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with Full Military Honors.
