Tsgt. Wade M. Martin, Usaf (Ret.)

Wade M. Martin, 77, entered into rest on Sunday, November 9, 2008.

Mr. Martin was born on August 30, 1931, in Robertstown, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force, participating in the Vietnam Conflict. He called Covenant Presbyterian his church home.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-three years, Regina Smith Martin; daughters, Dorothy Hunley (Billy), Bonaire, Beverly Fuller (Woody), Byron, and Elizabeth Martin, Macon; step-sons, Thomas E. McDonald (Dale), Macon, and Brad McDonald (Jean), Fort Valley; sister, Emodean Sturgill, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Robert Jarrett and Reverend Ben Hunley will be officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Ste. A, Macon GA 31201.
