Tearl Carlson Glisson

Tearl C. Glisson, Sr., 72, entered into rest on Monday, February 2, 2009.

Mr. Glisson was born in Berrien County, Georgia, on December 4, 1936. He was a retired veteran who served his country with pride and honor in the U. S. Air Force for twenty-two years. He subsequently worked for the Livestock Breeders Journal and Imedia. His parents, Thomas Glisson and Pauline Hancok Coleman, preceded him in death.

He will forever live in the hearts of his wife of fifty-two years, Ouida Glisson, Bonaire; daughter, Sheila Dale, Kathleen; sons, Terry Glisson (Roxanne), Bonaire, Ricky Glisson (Vickie), Macon and Timothy Glisson, Warner Robins; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and brother Ernest Glisson, Florida.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 6, 2009, at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
