Terry D. Gore

December 25, 1952 — April 13, 2016

After a courageous ten year battle with cancer, and surrounded by his loving family, 63 year old Terry Gore peacefully went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was born on Christmas Day in 1952 in Clanton, Alabama, to the late Curtis and Josephine Kromer Gore. Following high school, Terry opened and operated his automotive business, Gore's On The Parkway, for over 30 years. Terry was a faithful and loving member of Centerville United Methodist Church. He was known for his love of helping others and he enjoyed participating in numerous charity events. He was generous and ever-supportive of the local school athletic programs and booster clubs throughout Houston County as well as the Sheriff's Youth Homes. Terry enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, and most of all, being with his family. He was a die-hard Alabama fan – "Roll Tide!"

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip "Rusty" Gore, and sister, Teresa Gray.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and beloved wife of 31 years, Vicki Jackson Gore of Centerville; children, Aimee M. Bagwell (Dean) of Warner Robins; Richard C. Gore (Constance) of Bonaire, Alison M. Luttrell (Bobby) of Lake Oconee; Renee G. Pickren (Wilson) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; grandchildren, Sam T. Carithers, Blaire B. Bagwell, Kelsey B.
