The Reverend David L. Wacker

David Louis Wacker, 77 passed away on September 24, 2007.

Mr. Wacker was born on January 29, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and was also a Lutheran minister. He ministered in the following states: Kansas, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Arkansas. His parents, The Reverend Herbert and Eleanor Wacker, brother, James Wacker and sister, Doris Dunger, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wacker, Kathleen; children, David W. Wacker, (Penny), Texas; Rebecca J. Speer (James), Perry; Jonathan Louis (Sylvia), Tennessee; Elizabeth W. Mastenbrook (Darryl), Kathleen; Daniel J. Wacker (Kim) Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret E. Beaten (George), Michigan; sister-in-law, Lillian Hagemier, Texas.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2007, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 336 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, Georgia, Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088, or charity of donor’s choice.
