Thomas Barfield

Thomas Wesley Barfield, 71, entered into rest on Friday, January 30, 2009.

Born on July 16, 1937 in Ideal, Georgia, Mr. Barfield lived most of his life in Warner Robins. For fifty years, he owned and operated Barfield Roofing Company in Warner Robins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Polly Barfield, and parents, Bevert Barfield and Nettie Brooks Barfield.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife Debra W. Barfield; children, Evelyn Wright and Thomas Wesley Barfield, Jr., all Warner Robins; brothers Ralph Barfield, Atlanta, and Buddy Ressler; sisters, Uni Dietz and Wanda Gallagher, both Pennsylvania; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home, Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
