Thomas Peter Clark, Sr.

Thomas Peter Clark, Sr., 88, entered into rest on Friday, July 20, 2018.

Tom was born on January 29, 1930 in Evanston, Illinois to the late Chester William and Eleanor Kalteux Clark. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. Following his time in the military, Tom followed his true passion for flying by working as a corporate pilot for many years. Until his illness slowed him down, Tom was an active person enjoying time-spent with his family and friends. Tom was a devout Catholic who devoted his life to God and his family.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of thirty-five years, Mary Evelyn Mabry Clark; children, Barbara Neville (Gordon) of Rockford, Michigan, Thomas Mitchell Clark (Kathy) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kenneth Patrick Clark (Sandy) of Jupiter, Florida, Thomas P. Clark, Jr. (Lilly) of Boynton Beach, Florida, and John R. Clark of Cumming, Georgia; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William Chester, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and sister, Diane Anderson of Palm Springs, California.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Tom will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm. in Andersonville National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Thomas Peter Clark, Sr. to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund at 300 South Davis Drive Building 300, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
