Thomas "Tom" Patrick Gorman

Thomas Patrick Gorman passed away at the age of 83 in his home on Friday, June 1, 2018.

Tom was born on November 9, 1934 in Hudson, New York to James and Beatrice (Cutler) Gorman. He was the fifth of nine children. Tom was gregarious and outgoing. He enjoyed sports and traveling, but he loved his family and friends most of all. A proud veteran, Tom served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, living in Spain, England, and various states before finally settling in Warner Robins, Georgia with his wife, Eleanor, and their four children. He had a strong Catholic faith and warm personality. Tom eventually moved to Arizona, where he lived out the remainder of his life surrounded by friends and enjoying retirement.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor Gorman; and his daughter, Patricia Ann Gorman.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially his daughter, Cathy Tauanuu and her daughter, Airianna of Warner Robins; his daughter, Colleen Gorman-Sage, her husband, Leslie Sage, and their son, Richard Sage, of Potomac, Maryland; and son, Tom Gorman, Jr., his wife, Melanie, and their children, Ripken, Katie, Brooks and Griffey of Bolingbroke.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Andersonville National Cemetery where Tom will be laid to rest.
