Timothy Michael Sneed

It was early on the morning of Wednesday, March 25, 2020, when Tim Sneed passed away at home with his loving wife, children, and amazing sister at his bedside. He was 58 years old. A Middle Georgia native, Tim was born in Perry, Georgia, and lived most of his life in Warner Robins. He was a very skilled and crafted carpenter by trade which allowed him to become a superintendent at Driggers-Reed Construction for several years. In his spare time, Tim was a family man, who greatly enjoyed going fishing and watching NASCAR with his family. He even got to participate in the Richard Petty Driving Experience. He was a man of the Baptist faith. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Tim will be dearly missed by the many lives that he blessed during his time on earth.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Gossett Rowe; and father-in-law, James Rigsby.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 38 years, Lucy Jo Rigsby Sneed of Warner Robins; children, Michael Sneed of Centerville, and Stephanie Helms (Jeremiah) of Macon; grandchildren, Siera Helms, Torin Helms, and Shilo Helms; sisters, Becky Sneed Richardson, and Ashley Beasley, both of Fitzgerald.

A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Sneed at Magnolia Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions in place, and for friends who would like to celebrate his life from a distance, the services for Mr. Sneed will stream online from the McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page on Saturday afternoon.
