Varna Maxine Danico Roberson

Varna Maxine Danico Roberson passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. She was 87 years old. Born in Ellsworth, Maine, Varna was the daughter of the late Leamon and Lois Urquhart Danico.

Varna was a dedicated homemaker who raised three children. She spent her spare time making all kinds of crafts and enjoyed quilting. Varna also enjoyed playing BINGO and card games. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Varna is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Herman Roberson; brothers, Victor, Leaman Jr., Bobby, Donnie, and Floyd Danico; sisters, Mary Danico, Lillian Tracy, and Ruth Allen.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Gary Roberson (Katherine) of Clover, South Carolina; Randy Roberson of Warner Robins, Georgia; Don Roberson of Daytona Beach Florida; grandchildren, Vicki Ferguson (Jared) and Stacy Johnson (Jon) both of Rock Hill, South Carolina; great-grandson, Landon Johnson; brother, Richard Danico (Janet) of Maine; sister-in-law, Loretta Staton (Fred) of Tennessee.

At the family’s request, all services are private.
