Vera Brooks

Vera Margarthe Brooks, 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2006. Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at The First Christian Church in Perry, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The First Christian Church, 2100 Macon Road, Perry, Georgia 31069.

Mrs. Brooks was born on May 25, 1916 in Schmiedeberg, Germany. Her husband, Ira Brooks, and parents, Heinrich and Erna Ritzman, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Heidi Vartenisian (Paul), Warner Robins; six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
