Virginia Ann Myers

December 29, 1946 — July 25, 2018

Ann Myers, 71, passed away peacefully with grace and dignity surrounded by her family at her home on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was at peace with the Lord at the time of her death.

Ann was born on December 29, 1946 in Valdosta, Georgia and graduated from McEvoy High School in Macon. Later, she met and married the love of her life the late, Terry Lee Myers, Sr. As a devoted homemaker, Ann’s beloved family was always her highest priority and her greatest source of joy. She loved flowers, traveling and was a collector of many things. Ann was also an Atlanta Braves and NASCAR fan. However, she will always be remembered for her kind, gentle, loving spirit.

Her father, James W. Cooper, and brothers, James E. Cooper and Richard Cooper, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Franka Epps Baxley of Milledgeville, Jeanne R. Boutwell of Kathleen, Kristy Collins (Stuart) of Bonaire; bonus children, Terry Lee Myers, Jr. of Chester, Jack E. Myers of Perry, Sharnell R. Myers (Charlie) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Crystal Ivey (Ryan), C.J. Baxley (Joni), T.J. Hurlburt, Lee Collins, Hannah Collins, Kali Murray (Marcus), Karena Collins, Keira Stephens; step-grandchildren; Terry Lee Myers III, Heather Myers, Brittney Myers, Stephen Hutchinson, Michael Hutchinson, Bobby Lee Hutchinson; 12 great-grandchildren; mothers, Martha Beard of Bridge City, Texas, Vivian Southern of Wesley Chapel, Florida; siblings, David Wayne Beard of Bridge City, Texas, Brian Keith Beard (Rene) of Bridge City, Texas, John “Greg” Gregory (Debbie) of Wesley Chapel, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Ann will be laid to rest in Glenn Haven Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Ann Cooper Myers to Homestead Hospice, 500 Osigian Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA 31088.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Myers’ arrangements.
