Vivian G. Anderson

Early on the morning of Sunday, October 14, 2018, Vivian Gay Anderson, 99, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.

Mrs. Anderson was born on April 15, 1919, in Jenkins County, Georgia to the late Mathew and Bessie McBride Gay. She had lived in Warner Robins since 1964 and was a faithful member of Oakland Baptist Church. A devoted housewife and mother, she loved cooking for her family and spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucious H. Anderson, and seven siblings.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Donald Anderson of Warner Robins, Jeffery Anderson (Barbara) of McDonough, Jim Anderson (Elaine) of Lawrenceville, and Glenda Jines (William) of Twin City; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

A private graveside service celebrating Mrs. Anderson’s life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Millen, Georgia with Reverend David Donnan officiating. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
