Vivian Walden Johnson, 87, entered into rest on Thursday, May 26, 2016.

Vivian was born on May 21, 1929 in Albion, Nebraska to the late Franklin and Minnie Walden. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida where she attended for many years before moving to Warner Robins. She loved her family and devoted to helping them and everyone else she knew. Vivian enjoyed crocheting, reading, and working in her garden in her spare time. She had a passion for cooking and loved taking care of other people, putting them in front of her own needs. Vivian lived life to the fullness and had fun doing so, she will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

Along with her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her son, Gary W. Johnson, sister, Christine Walden, and two brothers, Earl Walden and Harry Walden.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 69 years, Donald "D.B." Johnson of Warner Robins; children, Iris J. Gaddy (Robert) and Bonnie J. Smith both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Gary W. Johnson, Jr (Vicky), Joshua B. Johnson (Chandra), A. Abigail Gaddy, Amber G. Collins (Eric), Ashley G. Loseke (Trent), April G. Jones (Chris), Nicholas B. Smith, and Christopher P. Smith; great grandchildren, Bryan Johnson, McKayla Johnson, Travis Johnson, Alexis Johnson, Emily Loseke, Claire Loseke, Brayden Loseke, Nova Collins, Quinn Collins, Canyon Collins, Graham Jones, Griffin Jones; brother, Irvin "Jack" Walden; sister, Sonja Cherrix.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at The Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be given in memory of Vivian Walden Johnson to Compassionate Care Hospice, 305 Smithville Church Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
