Wade C. Simpson

Wade Simpson, 82, entered into rest on Saturday, February 23, 2008.

Mr. Simpson was born on March 29, 1925 in Summit, Alabama. With pride and honor, he served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II; he retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Sheet Metal Inspector. Mr. Simpson was a member of Central Baptist Church. His parents, Emory and Mary Jane Simpson, preceded him in death.

Family members include his loving wife, Mahila "Jo" Simpson, Warner Robins; children, Ken Simpson (Glenda), Warner Robins, Lynn Stephens (Cliff), Warner Robins and Shelia Howell (Jack), Suffolk, Virginia; sister, Almeda Smith, Winder; brother and sister in-law, Dewey and Peggy Thurmond, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
