Wallace McCommon, 82, entered into rest on Friday, August 23, 2013.

Mr. McCommon was born on April 24, 1931 in Clinchfield, Georgia. With honor and courage, he served his country as a Seargent in the United States Army. The Assembly at Warner Robins was his church home. As a prayer warrior, Mr. McCommon loved to help people and it showed through his most favored hobbies: his family, church and his service with Bill Glass Ministries. His parents, Norman and Laura McCommon; grandson, Billy Dupuis and siblings, William McCommon, Powers McCommon, Norman "Preacher" McCommon, Price McCommon and Jewel Williams preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of twenty-four years, Geraldine McCommon; daughters; Debbie Greathouse (Terry), Perry; and Pam Clark (Tim), Raleigh, North Carolina; son, Wallace McCommon, Jr. (Diane), Andalusia, Alabama; step-daughter, Jackie Russ (Randall), Leesburg; and step-son, Marlon Evans (Cindy), Peachtree City; grandchildren, Jeremy Dupuis, Freddy Dupuis (Ashlee), Tommy Greathouse (Angela), Tag Greathouse (Diane), Lance McCommon (Karla), Brandon McCommon, Travis McCommon, Michael Golby, Jamey Vizzini (Brooks), Macy Seymour, Cole Evans, Chad Evans and April Russ; great grandchildren, Robert Greathouse, Kylie McCommon, Aubree Dupuis and Hunter Dupuis; sister, Annie Layson (Ted), Warner Robins; and brothers, James McCommon (Jean), Perry; Benjamin McCommon (Elsie), Melbourne, Florida; Robert McCommon, Warner Robins; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Perry Memorial Garden Mausoleum. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street Macon, Georgia 31201 or the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
