Walter "Walt" Alois Lauermann Jr

Walter “Walt” Alois Lauermann Jr, born June 30, 1953, was a giving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He passed away on July 4, 2022, at age 69. Walt loved family vacations at the beach, music, board games, hard work, and gardening. He instilled a love for each of these in his children.

Walt was the owner of Masterpiece Paint and Wallcovering in Macon, GA for 28 years and served his community well.

Walt instructed his children in the ways of the Lord. His life, through the good and the bad has taught them much about the faithful love of God the Father and the selfless sacrifice of Jesus. Above all, his life and struggles have taught them about the importance of a daily walk in the Spirit. His family will be forever grateful for this beautiful legacy.

Per Walt’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. His children will gather at the beach and spread his ashes in the waters that brought him much joy.
