Wayne G. Howard

Wayne G. Howard, 63, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Wayne was born on April 7, 1949 in Miami, Florida. He worked with Alfa Homeland Security for six years at Warner Robins Social Security Office, and worked as a Security Officer at Lake Wildwood in Macon. Wayne was a volunteer with the Houston County Volunteer Fire Department. Wayne enjoyed karaoke and playing the guitar. His wife, Sandra Molson Howard and his mother, Barbara E. Kennedy Howard, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his father, Earl F. Howard, Sr., Warner Robins; sisters, Cindy Carr (Dave), Warner Robins; Barbara-Ellen Howington, Epps, Louisiana; Dorothy M. Garrettson-Smith (Bradley), Byron; brothers, Brendan C. Howard, Biddeford, Maine; Leonard Paul Howard, Portland, Maine; Earl F. Howard, Jr., Warner Robins; longtime sweetheart, Doris R. Garten, Warner Robins; son, Joseph Garten; daughter, Courtney Garten, both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Mariah and Jakob Page, Alexis and Mersadies Garten, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.
