Wayne T. Bird

Wayne T. Bird, 83, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2005. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2005, at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, December 17, 2005 from 10 until 11 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Bird was born on October 2, 1922 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mr. Bird was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Korea and World War II. His parents, John and Christbel Bird, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Mary “Elizabeth” Bird, Warner Robins; daughter, Judy Singleton, Warner Robins; son, Wayne Bird, Sumter, South Carolina; grandchildren, Keri, Clayton, Gary and Suzanne; great grandchildren, Oscar, Brooke, Brandon and Kayla; sister, Joan Ushery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
