Wilbert Kinch Pollock

July 29, 1939 — April 5, 2020

Wilbert Kinch Pollock, 80, passed away at Summerhill Senior Living Community on the morning of Sunday, April 05, 2020. The son of the late Coy and Eula Mae Pollock, Wilbert was born in Bascom, Florida. A Miami Northwestern High School graduate, Wilbert was the captain of his varsity basketball team. After high school, Wilbert attended a barber college in Tyler, Texas; he became a master barber for over 40 years. A servant of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Wilbert devoted time as an ordained deacon to the Bible Baptist Church of Miami, Florida, where he taught Sunday school and was also a Brotherhood director. Wilbert will be fondly remembered for his steadfast faith in Jesus.

In addition to his parents, Wilbert was preceded in death by his siblings, Coy and Fred Pollock.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 42 years, Marva Pollock; children, Derick (JoAnne), Sabrina (Manny), Kimberly, Stephanie, and Monica; grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Alexander, Alexander, and Autumn; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service celebrating the life of Mr. Pollock will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020, at Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 N.W. Opa Locka Blvd., Miami, Florida 33167.
