Wilbur Franklin Hanson, Sr.

Wilbur Franklin Hanson, Sr., 66, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2004. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 18, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Hanson was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base, where he was a security manager. A veteran of the United States Army, he had served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Mr. Hanson was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis F. and Ira Bell Hanson, and children, Karolina Hanson, Alwin F. Hanson, and Crystal C. Hanson.

Survivors include his wife, Judy W. Hanson, Bonaire; daughter, Valarie Hanson, Warner Robins; son, Wilbur Hanson, Jr., (Kay) Huntsville, AL; two brothers, Donald Hanson, Warner Robins, and Gary Hanson, Newnan, GA; four grandchildren, Savannah Hanson, Michaela Hanson, Craig Brinson, and Marc Brinson; and one great grandchild.
