William ''Bill'' Jackson, Jr.

September 18, 1926 — February 15, 2004

Warner Robins - William B. Jackson, Jr., 77, died Sunday, February 15, 2004 at the Coliseum Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 18 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 on Tuesday evening, February 17, at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Jackson was born in Leaksville, Mississippi to the late William and Bessie Jackson. He served in the Pacific Theater during WWII and retired from both the United States Air Force and the Army. Mr. Jackson formerly served as the recreation director at Brookley AFB in Mobile, Alabama and most recently retired from 34 years of civil service at Robins AFB where he also served and retired as the MWR Recreation Supervisor.

Survivors include his sons, Kenneth L. Jackson, Warner Robins, and Bobby L. Jackson, Chickasaw, AL; ex-wife, Gladys Jackson, Chickasaw, AL; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
