William ''Billy'' A. Cooper, Sr.

William “Billy” A. Cooper, Sr., 53, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2003. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 363 Pierce Ave., Macon, GA 31204 or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 248 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., PMB 437, Macon, GA 31210.

Mr. Cooper was born in Lumber City to the late Andrew Barron “A.B.” and Louise B. Cooper. He was a retired adolescent counselor from Charter Lake Hospital. He was a member of NA and AA with 22 years of recovery and was also a member of Second Baptist Church of Warner Robins.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah R. Cooper, Macon; son, William Andrew Cooper, Jr., Warner Robins; daughter, Sonja Kristin Cooper, St. Petersburg, FL; stepdaughter, Teresa Williams, Warner Robins; and grandson, William Andrew Cooper III, Warner Robins.
