William Cates, 62, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2006. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Mr. Cates was born on August, 15, 1943 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, William C. Cates and Madie J. Cates, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Clifford Cates and daughter, Teresa Nolan, both of Monroe; sisters, Dell Chambers (John), Warner Robins; Barbara Pulliam (B.W.), Centerville; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
