William Clinton Moon

William Clinton Moon, 80, entered into rest on August 17, 2008. Mr. Moon was born on September 16, 1927, in Rhine, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He later retired from Robins Air Force Base as a civil servant IM Specialist. His parents, Royal Clinton Moon and Sue Nobles Moon, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Susan Stewart Moon; son, Dean Christian (Theresa); daughter, Kelly Moon Diaz (Juan); grandchildren, Paul and Ryla Christian and Elijah and Lydia Diaz; sister, Susan Moon Pertl; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Andy Cook officiating. Interment will following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Lung Association of GA, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna GA 30080 or the American Heart Association, 3312 Northside Drive, Suite 140A, Macon GA 31210-0429.
