William David "Dave" Brown, Jr.

Dave Brown, 41, passed away on the afternoon of Monday, December 18, 2017.

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Dave was born on February 20, 1976. A 1994 graduate of Warner Robins High School, he was Captain of the football team and went on to play football with Amherst College in Massachusetts. Dave had the honor of serving as an intern in Washington D.C. for Sam Nunn and worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and other investment firms around the country before moving back home to Warner Robins. He was most recently a manager with Fidelity Investments in Atlanta. Dave was an avid fan of the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs, and always loved spending time with his family and friends any chance he had.

Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Brown; and grandparents, Doris Burton, Mae Brown, and W.T. Brown.

He leaves his memory behind with his loving father, William David Brown, Sr. (Cindy) of Warner Robins; siblings, Wayne Mosely (Jessie) of Franklin, North Carolina, Brandon Mosely of Cleveland, Tennessee, Dustin Brown (Amy) of Perry, Jinger Brown of Atlanta, and Tim Mosely (Kristin) of Warner Robins; grandfather, David Burton of Warner Robins; biological mother, Terry Mosely; many other loving family and friends; and his beloved dog, “Buster Brown.”

The family will receive friends at McCullough Funeral Home on the afternoon of Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough with the Rev. David Fisher officiating. After the service, Dave will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
