William Dennis "Animal" Ellis

July 29, 1956 — December 19, 2013

Dennis ''Animal'' Ellis, 57, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Pine Pointe Hospice and Palliative Care surrounded by his family.

Dennis was born on July 29, 1956 in Fort Ord, California. He served in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Officer before being honorably discharged and was currently employed as an F-15 hydraulic mechanic on Robins Air Force Base.

In his downtime, Dennis enjoyed playing softball for the 4:15'ers with friends and colleagues on Robins Air Force Base. He was an avid reader and loved to work in his garden with his grandchildren. Dennis also had a love for riding Harley Davidsons and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Ellis, Warner Robins; son, Jesse Ellis, Warner Robins; daughter, Alycia Morrow (Michael), Byron; sister, Jaymee Ross; stepfather, John Ross; grandchildren, Nathan Ellis, Michael Coffman-Sharbutt, Sarah Ellis and Anniston Morrow. His mother, Peggy Ross; and brother, James ''Jimmy'' Ellis, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
