William Henry Dodd

Henry Dodd, 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

Henry was born in Macon, Georgia on March 10, 1948 to the late Henry and Amy Seymour Dodd. He was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Henry was later a successful sales representative in the wholesale wine and liquor industry for over 30 years, retiring from Empire Distributing. In his free time, Henry was a yardwork enthusiast and an avid rose gardener.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Harrison.

During his marriage to Bowman Hanson Dodd, he became a father to Ryan Dodd (Sarah), Marni Dodd, and Brannon Dodd. In 1995, he married Laura Harville Dodd and helped raise her two children, Beth Kusar (Mike) and Ben Bollinger (Wendy). Henry also leaves three granddaughters to cherish his memory, Maggie, Kelli, and Lindsey.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
