William M. Mize

William M. Mize, 82, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, at Magnolia Park Mausoleum with entombment following. Visitation will be 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Mize was born March 22, 1922 in Waverly, Georgia to the late Robert and Kate Mize. He was retired from Civil Service where he worked as an electrician. Mr. Mize proudly served in the Marines during WWII where he received a Purple Heart. He was a Mason and attended Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church. Preceding him in death were wife, Willene C. Mize and daughter, Catherine Robinson.

Survivors include, daughter, Olivia Young (Tom), Griffin; daughter, Marilyn Kemp (Jay), Warner Robins; sister, Mamie Box, Jacksonville, Florida; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
