William R. Henson, 85, passed away on August 17, 2007. Mr. Henson was born on September 7, 1921 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and resided in Warner Robins since 1996. With loyalty and honor, Mr. Henson served in the U.S. Air Force for twenty years. He served in WW II, in Vietnam as an aircraft mechanic from April 1967 to November 1968, and in the Korean conflict.
His parents, William Gray Henson and Thelma Pritchard Henson, wife, Inez Grant Henson and daughter, Judith M. Banshoof all preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Lora M. Steinberg (Marvin), Oakfield, Elaine H. Rogers, Diamond Springs, CA and Marie Elena Henson, Centerville; son, Dominic Marasco (Donna), Maryville, TN; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088 or a veterans organization of the donor’s choice.
